West Marine announced that net revenues for the fiscal year 2011 were $643.4 million, a 3.3% increase over net revenues of $622.8 million for the fiscal year 2010. This was the second consecutive year for which the company indicated an increase in annual sales after the company experienced three years of declining annual financials. The boating industry was very negatively impacted by the onslaught of the recession and its aftermath. It appears that West Marine has righted its ship.
