H & M is building its largest-ever global store in New York’s Herald Center. The 63,000 sq. ft., four-level flagship will open in fall 2014. The fast fashion retailer will introduce its upscale COS fashion retail brand in the U.S. early this year, with its first store slated to open in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. H & M plans for a net addition of approximately 375 new stores globally in 2014. The company will enter new markets, including Australia, India and the Philippines, and open four new H & M online markets.
