Workwear brand Carhartt opened a flagship last month in Detroit, MI, the city where the company was founded in 1889. The company’s 20^th store occupies the first floor of a three-story, 51,000 sq. ft. building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Carhartt’s Detroit flagship carries men’s, women’s and children’s apparel, footwear and accessories.  The specialty retailer plans to open 2 new stores this fall in Ohio and Utah.
