Finish Line recently announced plans to close up to 150 stores in the next four years. The closures would reduce the company’s store base by 22 percent. The plan is to close about 40 stores in 2016. The leading shoe retailer will focus more heavily on online sales.

Current Finish Line Inc.’s President, Sam Sato, will soon be promoted to CEO. He will replace Glenn Lyon, effective February 28^th. Mr. Lyon will serve as the Executive Chairman and assume the role of Non-Executive Chairman in January 2017.
