Bartell Drugs lays claim to being the oldest family-owned drug chain in the United States. Serving greater Seattle and the Puget Sound region, the full-service pharmacy will officially open its 65th store on Saturday (9-17-16) across from King Street Station in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District. The company will use the new 11,600-square-foot store and design as a prototype as it seeks to open additional stores in urban locations around the region – likely a store a year by Chain Store Guide estimates.
