We’ve pulled and plotted same store sales and same store pharmacy sales for the industry leaders to take the temperature of the industry.

The transfer of the 1,700 stores from Rite Aid to Walgreens, which was completed at the end of March, will have directly factored into Rite Aid’s comparable sales results in its most recent quarter. But it may also have had an indirect effect on store performance at Walgreens in 2018, as focus within the organization shifted away from current stores to the process of obtaining and integrating the new ones.
