Flynn Restaurant Group: The Arby’s Acquisition

Last week, Flynn Restaurant Group acquired 368 Arby’s locations from US Beef Corp., becoming the largest Arby’s franchisee in addition to its designation as the largest Applebee’s franchisee. US Beef was founded in 1969 and will live on as Flynn’s RB American group, headed by Bo Davis, Senior Vice President, who joined Flynn from US Beef. Davis is a grandson of US Beef’s founder.

The acquisition pushes Flynn’s total holdings to more than 1,200 restaurants, a number that also includes Taco Bell and Panera stores, and projected annual sales of $2.3 billion.
