• The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC now offers a walk-up grocery locker pickup option for online orders at its store in Boston, MA.

 

Retail

• Family Dollar Stores Inc. is expanding the availability of delivery service via Instacart to 6,000 of its stores.

• General Nutrition Centers, Inc. is now partnering with Shipt to offer same-day online delivery nationwide.

• Rite Aid Corporation announced it opened 317 additional drive-thru COVID-19 testing locations in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania on Feb. 5.

• Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. announced a partnership with Uber to expand access to COVID-19 vaccines for people who need to use the ride service.

• Walmart Stores Inc. and Sam’s Club said its pharmacies will begin administering COVID-19 vaccines in 33 states, through the U.S. Federal Retail Pharmacy program, on February 12.

 

Restaurant

• First Watch is offering employees who get the vaccine up to two hours of paid time off.

• Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs has opened their 100th ghost kitchen location. The company began operating ghost kitchens in June 2020.

• Noodles & Company is offering four hours of paid time off to employees who wish to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
