• Publix Super Markets Inc. has administered its 1 millionth dose of COVID‑19 vaccine in Florida.

 

Retail

• Walmart Stores Inc. announced it has signed on to an international effort to provide standardized digital vaccination credentials to people who have received the complete COVID-19 vaccine.

 

Restaurant

• Chili’s Grill & Bar has made their virtual brand It’s Just Wings available for takeout through Google. The brand debuted last year amongst COVID-19 and was previously only available on DoorDash.

• Chipotle Mexican Grill has partnered with Nuro, an autonomous vehicle deliver company, in order to expand their delivery options. Chipotle has seen a sharp rise in digital orders since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

• KFC will be donating one million pieces of chicken to Meals on Wheels America to help feed senior citizens that have been impacted by COVID-19.

• Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be offering one free doughnut per day throughout the year to any customer who has received the COVID-19 vaccine.

• YUM! Brands Inc. has acquired technology company Tictuk. The acquisition will allow customers to place orders through email and social media platforms like Facebook.
