• Publix Super Markets Inc. is now providing COVID-19 vaccines in all seven southeastern states where it operates.

Retail

• Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. said that it is now offering COVID-19 vaccines at a majority of its stores across 49 states, Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico.

Restaurant

• la Madeleine Inc. will be opening 10 express locations inside of Walmart stores. The store within a store concept has gained interest as supermarkets like Walmart provide increased physical presence for struggling restaurants.

The Smoothie Factory Inc. will be opening two new locations that will feature a drive-thru. The Texas based locations will be the company’s first foray into the drive-thru design that has seen growing popularity during COVDI-19.
