• Albertsons LLC has begun providing COVID-19 vaccines on a walk-in basis at all of its pharmacies nationwide.

• Publix Super Markets Inc. announced that all of its pharmacy locations across seven states are now accepting walk-in customers for the COVID-19 vaccine.

• The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC and Publix Super Markets Inc. have made COVID-19 vaccinations available across their market areas.

Retail

• CVS Health unveiled an upgrade to its CarePass customer benefits program that gives members free same-day delivery of prescriptions through Shipt.

• Good Neighbor Pharmacy is introducing a COVID-19 vaccine locator tool, designed to help connect people to their local community pharmacy.

• Rite Aid Corporation has partnered with DoorDash for same-day delivery options.

Restaurant

• Chick-fil-A will be launching their first delivery-only restaurant in Atlanta later this year. The restaurant will be called Little Blue Menu and a second location will open in Atlanta next year. The company is also facing supply chain shortages and has limited sauce options to one per entrée.

• Golden Corral Buffet & Grill has reopened their location in Lake Charles, LA, after it was temporarily closed due to COVID-19.

• McDonald’s Corporation has partnered with the White House to serve cups that promote the nationwide vaccination effort.

• Portillo’s Hot Dogs has invested $1 million in Cartwheel to develop the technology behind the restaurant’s self-delivery program.

• Shake Shack is offering free fries to any guests who are vaccinated and the move was endorsed by the NYC Mayor.
