• Lumber Liquidators (47) reported that Dennis Knowles has resigned as President and CEO. Charles Tyson, the company’s Chief Customer Experience Officer, has been appointed as Interim President and Principal Executive Officer.
• Sherwood Lumber Corp. (14) announced Brian Nunes has been promoted to VP of Operations and Logistics. Cameron Peterson has been named as the company’s Director of Finance. Marra Prater has been promoted to Manager Operations. Norm Leger has been promoted to Manager Facilities and Maintenance.
• Tailored Brands, Inc. (97) announced it has named Carolyn Pollock as Chief Marketing Officer.
• Tapestry, Inc. (119) appointed Liz Fraser as the new head of Kate Spade.
• Tractor Supply Co. (43) has promoted Seth Estep to Exec VP, Chief Merchandising Officer. John Ordus has been named as the company’s Exec VP, Chief Stores Officer, and Colin Yankee has been promoted to Exec VP, Chief Supply Chain Officer.
• Under Armour Inc. (57) has promoted Colin Browne to COO. In addition, the company named Paul Fipps to the newly created position of Chief Experience Officer.
• Bethel Mills Inc. has acquired Fogg’s Hardware & Building Supply Inc. along with Oakes Brothers Inc. Fogg’s operates locations in Norwich, Fairlee and Woodsville, VT while Oakes Brothers operates a single location in Bradford, VT.
• Genesco Inc. is relocating its corporate headquarters to 535 Marriott Drive in Nashville, TN. Relocation is targeted for a little more than a year from now.
• The Home Depot Inc. said it will hire 80,000 part-time associates across its stores in preparation for its busiest season of the year.
• Kohl’s Corporation is eliminating around 250 corporate positions as part of a restructuring plan.
• Lowe’s Companies Inc. plans to add at least 53,000 people ahead of the spring season.
• David’s Bridal has opened a new store in Gainesville, FL. A new store in Little Rock, AR, is set to open in late March. The retailer plans six new store openings later this year, in Virginia Beach, VA; Houston, TX; Macon, GA; Union, NJ; Buford, GA; and Milwaukee, WI.
• Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. will open two new store locations this month in Tyler, TX, and Birmingham, AL.
• Drexel Building Supply plans to expand with a new distribution center, showroom and campus in New Berlin, WI. The retailer plans to break ground on the facility this year with a completion target of 2021.
• The Sherwin-Williams Co. announced that it is finalizing plans to build a new global headquarters in downtown Cleveland, OH, along with a new research and development center in Brecksville, OH.
• US LBM Holdings, LLC has opened a new location in Newington, CT. The location is the first in the state.
• The Home Depot Inc. has opened its latest distribution center model, a Flatbed Distribution Center. The retailer plans to build approximately 150 of the new new facilities across the country to reach 90% of U.S. customers with same-day and next-day delivery.
