Supermarket, Grocery, & C-Store

• The Giant Company has introduced a new 30-minute instant delivery via Instacart.

• Hy-Vee Inc., Meijer Inc., and Walmart Stores Inc. have begun offering COVID-19 booster shots to eligible patients.

• Weis Markets Inc. has added DoorDash as another third-party partner for grocery delivery. Same-day delivery service is now available at more than 170 stores via the DoorDash online marketplace and mobile app.

• Costco Wholesale Corp. reported it is reinstating purchase limits on products such as toilet paper, bottled water and paper towels because of supply chain challenges.

• Rite Aid Corporation announced the expansion of its partnership with Uber Eats to offer same-day delivery of grocery and healthcare products.

 

Restaurant

• Denny’s Corporation has relaunched their website and they are working to customize their digital experience for each customer in addition to improving the ordering process of Denny’s on Demand.
