Kroger recently released its 2015 year end financials, showing once again why it’s a crown jewel in the supermarket industry. The company achieved its 49th consecutive quarter of positive supermarket sales growth (fuel excluded) and posted another record breaking total revenue figure. Fiscal 2016 sales growth is expected to be in the 3% range. After positive results from mergers with Roundy’s and Harris Teeter, a larger acquisition cannot be ruled out in the near future for Kroger.
